A Timeless Art Tradition

Here at Stained Glass Works LLC, we know there are many people out there who delight in the beauty of stained glass. That’s why we’ve dedicated ourselves to creating colorful, vibrant, and durable pieces, many of which are inspired by Maine and the area we live. Though it is a labor intensive art form, we truly enjoy creating and selling stained glass. Each piece we craft is reasonably priced and perfect for the avid collector or gift shopper. There are two local stores in Maine that feature our artwork and we can be found at a variety of craft fairs in the New England area.

From Hobby to Vocation

Owner Cliff Wells is a U.S. Navy veteran who followed up his service with a public safety career that would last 48 years. His stained glass expertise began as a hobby over 35 years ago with a community school class and making gifts for friends and family. Increased demand led to the creation of Stained Glass Works about nine years ago, based close to Bangor, Maine.
Aside from stained glass, Cliff's hobbies include playing bagpipes for 18 years with the local Shrine band, woodworking, and motorcycle riding. He has four children and seven grandchildren.
